The Ushering Department of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) plays a vital role in creating a warm, orderly, and worship-friendly environment for all worshippers. As frontline ministers, ushers represent the love, excellence, and hospitality of Christ, ensuring that every member and guest feels welcomed, valued, and comfortable in the house of God.
The department is responsible for receiving worshippers with grace and courtesy, maintaining order during services, assisting with seating arrangements, managing service flow, and providing support before, during, and after church programmes. Ushers also help to uphold reverence in God’s presence by ensuring decorum and facilitating smooth coordination with other church departments.
Beyond physical service, the Ushering Department functions as a spiritual team, serving with humility, integrity, prayerfulness, and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Members are trained to minister with a cheerful heart, understanding that service unto God is a form of worship.
